Specialist mortgage lender Vida has announced the appointment of Richard Tugwell as Director of Mortgage Distribution, as it looks to accelerate its growth plans with a series of significant product and service improvements over the next few months. Louisa Sedgwick will be leaving the company at the end of March, following her decision to take up a new role in the autumn.

As a 30-year veteran of the UK intermediary market, Tugwell brings a wealth of experience to the role. Formerly Virgin Money’s Director of Intermediaries and an ex-director of IMLA (Intermediary Mortgage Lenders Association) he joins following a successful spell with specialist mortgage lender Together.
